Story:-Forgiveness to the river
Assalamu Alaikum, how are you all? I hope you are all well. So today I am here with another video for you. Today's story is a very educational story. So let's start without delay.
A young man used to sit by the river bank every evening. He had a lot of anger in his heart, a lot of unspoken things. He would pick up small stones and throw them into the river. He thought that this would drown his anger. One day, the river seemed to speak, "Why are you throwing stones?" The young man was surprised. "I want to drown my sorrows." The river smiled, "What you throw, accumulates at my bottom." If you want to drown your sorrows, throw forgiveness, not stones." The young man stopped. He understood that when anger accumulates, the heart becomes heavy, just as when stones accumulate at the bottom of a river, the current slows down. That day, he did not throw stones for the first time. He said quietly, "I forgive you." The current of the river seemed a little lighter then. And so did his chest.
Lesson: If you let go of anger, it will accumulate; only when you forgive can your mind be lightened.
