The Swap
Dad's role was provider. Mom's was caretaker. They switched for one week. Dad burned breakfast and forgot pickups. Mom messed up her work presentation badly.
By Friday, they were exhausted. They hugged tight, apologizing to each other. Neither role was easy. They had both been doing their best all along.
