Contest: How I got to know about steem ||by @mukadas

Hello everyone, i am @mukadas. I’m here to tell you how i got to know about steem. Thank you @small-ville for this great contest. As many people saw it on different platforms, I was referred by a friend and I will like to share with you how and when I got to know about it.

How and when did i join

Two weeks ago, I visited a university friend to find out how he has being doing since it’s been a while I heard from him. But before that I have heard about this wonderful online platform some months ago from some friends but I always thought I was a scam so I never gave it a listening ear.

I had most friends who joined including my room mates join @mukka,@calipo09 but still i wasn't convince. They started with their achievement 1, taking photos of themselves and writing on a sheet of paper, but i was seeing all these to be waste of time and never believed it really works and always make fun of them.

This was all because I had no knowledge on cryptocurrency. But with this genuine guidance of the friend of mine, I have unveiled vast knowledge about everything and this is thanks to him and other friends.
I joined this wonderful platform in the month of August.

My challenges so far

As every thing has challenges, steemit also has. Even though am new here so i don't have a lot of challenges but the few challenges are as followed;

1. Getting verified on time
Steemit has many users and I believe each day new users get to join this wonderful platform, so with this there will be challenges verifying every user on time. I posted my achievement task and it expired before been verified. Before been verified I was confused, thinking I didn’t do things the right. I found myself quitting, thinking I didn’t do things the right way but a friend told me to be a little patient. Today, my post are been verified on time.

2. votes
Getting votes is also another challenges I’m facing currently. I post sometime without even getting a single vote till it expires. This also sometimes discourages me but I don’t want to find myself quitting. I still believe with time, I will start getting little votes and this is what keeps me going.

How I see the future of steemit

I see the future of steemit bring about users that are creative and who bring about there own ideas and information. As we all know steemit frowns agains plagiarism, so with this the creativity of users can be established. All you need is a smart phone or personal computer with an internet connection and you can share with steemit your ideas. And with this you are rewarded with a something then being on the bring sun involved in some hard labor.

I am seeing a bright future in every one on this platform because it is the simplest and easiest way to make money. And it improves ones capability of learning.
