STEEM for SDGs Introduction : Impact in Action For Better World

After several months of running, finally in this post we would like to release an introduction to the STEEM for SDGs program which is run on the STEEMIT platform. This is our official post to introduce about the STEEM for SDGs program.

Mission:

• Invite the STEEM community to be involved in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) program.
• Building community strength to be sensitive to current issues, from the perspective of humanity, politics, social, -gender, environment and education.
• Solving problems related to humanity, politics, social, gender, environment, education and other problems related to the SDGs.
• Build the power of "Crypto Charity" funded by STEEM Blockchain.
• Bringing STEEM to the news media.
• Introducing STEEM to the wider community.
• Bring new users, fans or investors to STEEM.
• Build public trust for the STEEM Blockchain.

STEEM for SDGs is a project initiated and run by @ponpase and his team. STEEM for SDGs is a peaceful campaign movement to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals. We exist on the basis of consideration of human, social and environmental values.

STEEM for SDGs was established with the aim of making it an organizational movement based on the STEEM Blockchain project to be involved and actively involved in the Global Goals project. We want to promote Steemit to the global community by participating in the Sustainable Development Goals project. The Sustainable Development Goals (Global Goals) are major projects initiated by the United Nations.

Source of Funds, Income and Partnership

Since the first time this project was launched, we have received an injection of funds from @ponpase. The project that we have run has received a very positive response from the community. In the end, we have also succeeded in collaborating with external projects which are a community at the local level.

The community is also a community founded by @ponpase since 2020. The community already has volunteers and acts as an Event Organizer for the STEEM for SDGs program. Because of this achievement, we finally decided to manage this organization with more professional governance and management.

As a form of our seriousness in supporting and promoting the Steem Blockchain to the global community, we finally decided to create an @steemforsdgs account. This @steemforsdgs account is used to collect funds from Steemit that we voluntarily raise from our founders and team members. Now we will be more active to use this account to publish and make reports about the activities we carry out.

Our team members will also help provide an injection of funds to be able to run the program in an organized manner. Funds can be obtained easily sourced from Beneficiary Settings (payout). Now we are also focused on managing this account and releasing our report to support funding for the next program gradually and regularly.

Methods and Concepts

Instead of being involved in the Global Goals program, STEEM for SDGs also has an impact on promoting Steemit through actions and activities that we carry out voluntarily. We are involved in the 17 main goals of the Sustainable Development Goals to promote the STEEM Blockchain and make a positive impact on the earth. The SDGs contain 17 Goals and 169 Goals that are expected to be achieved by 2030.

The 17 targets consist of: poverty eradication, hunger eradication, good health and well-being, quality education, gender equality, access to clean water and sanitation, clean and affordable energy, decent work and economic growth, infrastructure and industrial innovation, reduction of inequality, sustainable cities and communities, responsible consumption and production, tackling climate change, protecting marine ecosystems, nurturing terrestrial ecosystems, peace - justice and strong institutions, and partnerships to achieve goals.

Targeting and Marketing

Our main targets in this program are organizers, journalists, environmental activists, non-governmental organizations, scout organizations, relevant government agencies, business people, freelancers, influencers, and the STEEM community around the world, especially those in areas with high levels of the most vulnerable of poverty.

How to Support ?

We want to bring STEEM to be more popular and known by the wider community. We also believe that STEEM is able to bring about change and a better impact in the future, especially to achieve the goals of the SDGs themselves. We will also disseminate information about STEEM for SDGs on the official SDGs community website.

If you want to be involved in this movement, you can help push us forward and grow. Support funding for our activities voluntarily. You can support it by adding @steemforsdgs as payout recipient in Beneficiary Settings.

We will use the funds you provide wisely and we will provide a detailed report for the list of expenses that have been used. Support with 10% payout or 25% payout for @steemforsdgs. Funds will also be used for donations to humanitarian projects on Steemit.

Coming Soon

We are currently producing more than 300 eco-friendly STEEM Shopping Bags. The production process has entered the delivery stage and we will immediately start a campaign. This campaign aims to reduce plastic waste so that the earth is more beautiful.
