Yes. Take everything of value with him to tron. Dapps, the communuty, the devs.
And kill the original chain.
But the arguments I have seen have been centered around not wanting him appoint his own Witnesses.
One or the other must be true. Both of those things being true does not appear to be possible to me. If i am harboring a blind spot i would appreciate it being brought to my attention.
Personally i would be happy to see a new witness line up. Its exactly what we need to attract the right kind of investors. Bring the Social back into the phrase social media platform
