That must have been quite an experience! Very cool to see this.

We lived in Kenya for 7 months when I was a kid of about 9... and although I really don't remember much, I do remember that the Maasai were extremely colorful and also extremely tall people... and their singing was very evocative. But, as I said, I was nine.

Where exactly in Ke? I am her child :)

Tz is just a few miles across the border and the Maasai people are shared between Ke and Tz. I am from Ke and this I must say looks like something from Kajiado where now 'our' Maasai live.

According to the national government, they are among the tribes who held on to their traditions a lil bit longer than the rest of us. They are the reminder of what Africans would be wearing and how they would be still living if it weren't for the westernization of our people. Thank you for sharing this :)

Yes I love the African fabric designs. I got some lappa tailored in Liberia. The styles are incredible. Now if only a way to make the fabric a bit stretchy were introduced, the clothing would be near perfect.

Beautiful pictures

Thanks, but if you are going to just comment spam and self vote your comments, do that somewhere else.

Okay, no problem. I felt my comments were not entirely spam as they were related to the content. However, the quantity of comments was spammy, although arguably more a fault of Steem's reward system than mine.

Anyways, I'm just trying to not let my voting power go to waste as I transition from Steem to Hive. It's hard for me to view this blockchain with any legitimacy after the mockery of the Tron takeover. Currently, there are no community-backed witnesses in the top 21 spots. And STINC stake is being used to downvote good content.

Therefore, I'm not sure why you'd expect comments to be anything more than spam. Steem is a sinking ship.

Interesting you slept so well.

When I recently went to Liberia, it was hot at night.

LOL 😂
It's pretty hot in Liberia.

The heat made it hard to sleep.

Some nights we'd sleep overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.

BTW, you make good content.

Lot's of cool hairstyles.

You should consider migrating to Hive.

I'm only here until I can power down.

But until then, might as well put my power to use.

Thank you for giving my power a home.

Wow, some of these photos are so intimate. That old dude springing up in the air is really surreal looking. Thanks for sharing
