Numb my heart,
Then rip it out.
Build your distance
And silence my mind

Dress yourself
In distraction and work
Hide the rest
You need nothing more
And no one needs you.
I don’t need you.
I don't need my heart.
I too can silence the pangs
And the jitters
With work and play.
I too will dress
In Distraction and lies
And work to deny
All my feelings inside.
I can do nothing more.
