I Miss Senku, So I Made A Fan Art! <3

Hello there beautiful people!
How's it going?


Recently, a lot of people (my friends, students and cousin) have been asking me for anime recommendation. Of course, I try to consider the genre they're into when doing so. I recommended most of them popular shounen anime like "Kimetsu no Yaiba", sports anime like "Haikyuu!", serious type ones like "Psycho Pass", and so on.

Actually, I wanted to tell them about Dr. Stone because I believe it's one of the most interesting thing there is, but when I told most of them the plot... they couldn't really decide. Well, it's Science-related and for me it's like watching a super incredible Science class in the form of anime. haha

Season two will be released mid this year, but I am missing the main character so much, so I decided to make a fan art of Senku-chan. I hope you enjoy it!

I guess my Senku-chan gained a bit of weight. lol Wouldn't he be cuter this way? In creating this piece, I used Paint Tool Sai and my XP-Pen drawing tablet. Let me show you the process below.

I started with this colorful rough sketch. I try to sketch directly on my tablet instead of drawing traditionally first in order to save some time.

Then comes the line art. Ones I'm done with the line art, I start coloring it starting from the base color, then shadow and highlights. Check them out!

All done! Of course, I need to improve more.. but let's take it one at a time. Lastly, I put a background as well as my username, date and signature.

And as always, I prepared a gif version of the artwork. :) It's really interesting to witness the artwork's transformation.

And that's it! I hope you enjoyed this fan art of mine. I really miss Senku-chan and the gang! I guess I'd have to re-watch the whole first season in preparation for the second one. I want more free time!!!!
