Good morning in early March.
Hopefully everything is still in extraordinary spirit.
A little repetition of the beginning I joined Steeemit around mid-July 2019, when I first learned about the blockchain. I have known about cryptocurrency like Bitcoin for a while, and didn't really get into it until it skyrocketed to $20,000 per Bitcoin around the same time. I immediately became a steemian who made interesting content, and also looked for new ways to get more viewers to glance.

After studying for 5 months, I finally started posting my first introduction in the world of Steemit Platform.
But I also realized that I had a lot of highest scores and a lot of lows. Here, I will share with you an unbiased and honest review of the social media platform in the hope that you will judge for yourself. Is it worth your time.

Think of Steemit Social Blogging Platforms like Reddit and Medium where you can post articles and users choose the content you post. However, unlike Reddit, Steemit rewards your content with Money. Users (Steemit members) can raise (or downvote) your posts and based on the strength of their votes, give you rewards with Steem and SBD (Steem Backed Dollars), which is Steemit's own cryptocurrency.
You can then use this currency to power up in the system, so that your voice has more power (refund) or use it to buy goods / services on the platform. You can also transfer crypto currencies to various exchanges such as Bittrex and Binance, convert them to Bitcoin and ultimately transfer them to your bank as Fiat Currency (Dollars, Euros, etc.)

Aesthetically, the interface is easy to use, for the most part. This reminds me a lot of Reddit and Medium. The text editor is somewhat lacking and if you are an experienced blogger who is familiar with WordPress, you might find a bare bones platform. Fortunately, there is another interface called Busy (Busy.org etc) which provides an improved interface to the Steem Blockchain - what you post on Busy.org, will be recorded on the Steem Blockchain and that means it will also be seen on #Steemit.com.

▪ What can you do at Steemit?

You can do what you normally do on social platforms such as Twitter, Instagram and Facebook. You can post photos, publish posts, write opinions, raise votes or downvote posts, and so on. However, instead of getting an ego boost, you get rewarded with Steem which is a cryptocurrency platform. You make money to post your photos and publish your posts. You can also get money for upvoting or commenting on other people's posts.
If you are familiar with Reddit, it works in a similar way to the warning of making real money from sound. The general idea is that anyone using a platform that contributes good quality content can choose and give a gift or help by rating the content while getting rewarded for the action.

▪How to Join the Steemit
It's easy to register if you have Reddit as a verification tool for your registration.

1 - Go to Steemit.com and Click Register.
2 - Click "Register for Free."
3 - Choose a Username. Warning: This is permanent! Choose a username that you are happy with and live with.
4 - Enter your Email Address.
5 - Check your email and confirm registration

Your application will be manually reviewed and inspected and after that you can start using the platform. After you are approved and start accessing the platform, I suggest reading it. Feel how everything works. Choose a topic and niche and read several articles and involve other users. Comment and vote for other users (Steemian) content.

A popular thing for new Steemians to do is take photos of themselves with the Steemit logo and write an intro post with the tag "introduce yourself" just to test the waters. You will find that there are genuine users on the platform who are willing to help you and get started on the platform. Join the Dispute channel related to a specific niche on the platform. There you can interact with other users and network with other people. What is disputes? This is a chat application used by Gamers but also now used for fans of cryptocurrency and blockchain.

At this time, I do not recommend that you check pages that are trending as I mentioned in "Cons" above. Instead, choose subtopics like TravelFeed, Photofeed, there is a large and comprehensive whitepaper that explains how most functions function in detail, but that is for the backend, not for the frontend accessibility that Steemit provides to the blockchain.

Steemit is still a social networking platform and although supported by blockchain and using cryptocurrency, it is still intended to be used by the masses. You just basically use it like you would use Facebook and such. You can get followers by involving other users and contributing useful and interesting content. The difference here is that other social media platforms are paid for your time and effort

Here are some tips I wrote to help you succeed during your first month on Steemit.
Now that you are on the platform, you will be asking a Million Dollar question.

▪ Can You Make Money on Steemit?

The short answer is yes. If you receive votes on your posts and if their votes have enough support (Steem Power) then you will get a higher reward. Incidentally, you can also choose for yourself and if you have an investment in that platform it will also make your money worthwhile.

Yes, It's Possible to Make Money - Right! You can make money, through hard work, determination, luck, and maybe have a friend with big money on the platform.
There are Many Users - Steemit runs on the most active Blockchain in the world. There are many transactions and activities on the platform.
It's growing fast - This is one of the fastest-growing Social Media Platforms on the Web, with rapidly increasing traffic.

All other social media platforms were once small and were once a small user base. Now, something like Instagram has more than 40 million users. Who knows, maybe Steemit will become Myspace tomorrow. But it cannot be denied that its enormous growth in the two years has come out.
This is the most widely used blockchain in the world with more transactions than Bitcoin or Ethereum. There are now more than one million users on the platform and still growing. There is still time for you to adapt and grow the audience on the platform before taking off. As they say in the crypto universe, "To the moon!"
