Won my second ladder tennis challenge

Yesterday early morning 7:30am, i played my second tennis ladder challenge. I versed Fredrick Wanale. The match was at Makerere tennis courts.

I arrived at the tennis courts in time. Practiced my serves and warmed up as i waited for my opponent 'Fredrick' to show up on the court. He arrived abit late when it was almost 8am due to the traffic jam that he explained over the phone before his arrival.

I had taken a while without playing tennis on Makerere tennis courts. I last played a certain tournament about 9years ago. I was glad to find the courts still in shape and playable. Playing on these courts was my opponent's decision since they are close to his residence. As for me, i had to make my way to Makerere all the way from Najeera and i used a boda-boda to get there so fast.

When my opponent arrived. We first did some warm up rallies and serves before starting the match. During the warm up we kept on interacting since abit together inorder to get to know more about each other. He told me how of his previous experience while playing good players like Arturo. Though he did not win against him, he was able to give him a tight match that ended in 3 sets.

Fredrick had played the previous day won against Remmie, a lady who is also competing in the men's tennis ladder challenge.

We began our match after the warm up. The first set was a very tight one. The first set i managed to beat him on scores 6/3.

The second set, was so easy for me. I was even about to beat him 6/0 but he managed to fight so hard and got a game that concluded the second set 6/1. The final score was 6/3 6/1. The victory was mine. He wants to revenge next week if i so happen to be in his range. Any way next week i am going to be playing Remmie on wednesday at 7:30am. She is below me, therefore she is the one challenging me next week. I will be ready for her. 😊
