Greetings friends!

Bitcoin halving and ETFs were some of the factors those contributed in Bitcoin's historic glory and paved the way for making its all time high price. It's a well known fact that whenever Bitcoin price goes up, alt-coins also follow the same pattern. In the current BTC halving event, its price again made a new history.

So, I was thinking that likewise in the previous occasions, alt-coins, including Steem and Hive, will also follow the path of Bitcoin. But, I think I was wrong. I started powering down my Steem account, but it was too late. I had delegated 2500 SP to @project.hope for supporting its mission. I removed my delegation and started powering down. I was hoping that steem price would be at least around 1 USD this time. But, it didn't happen. It could not even cross $0.4 per steem. Not bitcoin price dipped to approximately $63k and continuously going down. Steem price is also following bitcoin price. It is just around $0.25 this time. 63000 is the important support level for Bitcoin and 0.25 for steem. If these support level are broken, their price may go down further. Otherwise, their price may bounce back.

I was thinking that I would sell my steem at high price and when its price would drop down, I would buy more Steem at a cheap rate. So, in this way I would be able to delegate more SP to @project. hope. But, crypto trading takes lots of efforts and time. Unfortunately, I don't have much time to invest on trading. Also, I am a pessimistic person. So, I am not hopeful about the bright future. That's why I have stopped powering down. I have also re-delegated 1000 SP to @project.hope. I hope my friend @crypto.piotr won't mind it. I will increase the amount of delegation in near future. Till then I must take a break.
