It's surely hard not to hear about AI, IoT and 5G. Those are like 3 bloody musketeers, making me feel both: excited and fearful.
If this can be used then the chips could possibly be manufactured for less than 1 cent which would make it viable for many more throw away products.
Could that possibly mean, that data about all products which are around us, which we purchase, which we throw to the bin - it all will be collected?

Exactly, the idea of disposably IoT just means that just about any item could be tagged with a little sensor, even the stuff we just use once and throw away.
Makes you wonder, what are we going to do with this huge amount of data we collect everywhere?
for sure some sort of advertising. that's a must.
also the way I see it, is that masses will be kept where they "belong". And whoever will be in control and in power - will use that data to secure position of power. Will be able to dig out any dirt possible on anyone out there. Information is the most valuable weapon.
