These are native Australian animals Figures 3 and 4 illustrate the importance of Biodiversity, the number of different species of life in a particular habitat because it sustains our environment. Therefore, high levels of ecological diversity help the ecosystem to maintain stability should exist threatened with factors like climate change, natural catastrophes, or human interferences.

Every species in a given ecosystem has a specific function within it and contribute to certain roles such as pollinators, nutrient cycling and decomposition. For instance, bees, birds, and bats are play vital roles in pollination of flowers and other crops, which feed the herbivores and the entire food pyramid. Likewise various plant species contributes positively to soil fertility and helps deter soil erosion.

The fact that there is life diversity also has its advantages to human beings in terms of resources in this world such as food, medicine and other various materials. Most of the drugs known today have been sourced from plants and animals;<|reserved_special_token_264|>cating the conservation of species for medicinal yields.

But, weakened or destroyed habitats, environmental pollution, and climate change views remain a threat to the growth of biodiversity. There is a crucial need for the attempts of conservation in order to preserve and recover biological diversity in various settings in order to maintain the sustenance of the ecosystems’ availability and the services they offer. Therefore, by embracing the act on sustainable use of biological diversity, we can conserve our environment, protect our natural habitats and ensure there is a better future for the generations to come.
