This evolution not only redefines the way in which commercial transactions are carried out, but also impacts multiple aspects of society and organizations, generating progress in various areas.
This exponential growth of the digital economy or e-commerce poses regulatory and fiscal challenges that must be addressed by the current legal framework, being necessary to establish a sound and equitable tax system that ensures the fair contribution of companies operating in this area.
Therefore, applying the same principles that apply to traditional commerce will undoubtedly generate enormous difficulties, and the tax system must not be unfair or discriminatory to any sector and must seek to maintain fairness in the tax treatment of all economic activities.
