TODAY is the day I was waiting for

It is said that life is today, that we must live in the present moment. I am one of those who believe that life is ephemeral and that death is so linked to life that they are one, there is no difference. That is why I have created a conscience about death, about life, about the present moment, about the TODAY. But I am an amateur, an apprentice in these matters, nevertheless I like to think about it and reflect on it and from time to time I write my opinions and what I have learned.

And I believe that TODAY is the day I've been waiting for: Today is my day! Why wait any longer? Tomorrow might be too late. Besides, why should I wait any longer to finally BE what I want to be and to finally DO what I want to do? My dreams are too big to realize them in a few days and in a hurry. The time IS NOW, this is the opportunity to embark on this long but fulfilling journey of realization.

Life has taught me that in order to get that "someday" that I keep hearing about achieving goals, I have to start "someday," of course, and I have learned, although I sometimes forget, that there is no better day to start than TODAY.

TODAY is the day I decide to face life, TODAY is the day I start fighting for what I want. TODAY I start to be myself, to be authentic, TODAY I start to LIVE.

I can't keep wasting time. I have to make the most of this day and today I start to realize the meaning of the phrase I once read: "If you think every day is no good, try wasting one".

The best day of my life is here, the best day of my life is TODAY.

And to you, my dear friend, I say: the best day of your life is TODAY! Today is your chance to change, to dream, to fight, to laugh, to cry, to love, to work, to learn, to be yourself, to be happy and to fight to make those you love the most happy. Today is your day!

As for me, it is TODAY when I decide. Tomorrow, who knows? Maybe then I won't even be alive.

I must confess (and it is likely that if we sit down for a beer you will also come clean) that I have left many things for tomorrow, and those "tomorrows" never materialized; they remained mere intentions, and on the other hand, some other "tomorrows" are gone forever. Many of my goals and dreams I have left for "someday ", and they have not materialized either.

I invite you to take these words into consideration. Let us, you and I, have the will to live each day as if it were our last and to live the present to the fullest LET'S DECEIVE TODAY!.
