Hi to all.
First of all I have to say that I apologize for not being there for a while.
Sometimes unpredictable things happen.
Anyway, I hope I can be more present like before.

In this article, I'm going to compare #Ethereum and #Polkadot blockchains.

The purpose of developing Polkadot is to provide the most powerful platform for security, scalability and innovation. Polkadot is a scalable, scalable chain as well as the first protocol to create a secure environment for interchanging.

The initial version of Polkadot was launched on May 26, 2015. However, this setup is a sequence of several steps. Each stage pursues different goals, a summary of each of which is described below.

Proof of Audit (PoA)

In this case, most users had access to the token request from their Ethereum contracts.
They could stick their tokens and announce their intention.

Authenticators set their session keys, and the Web3 Foundation used the Sudo key to manage the chain, along with enabling more features.

Nexus Proof of State (NPoS)

At this point, the network was managed by a decentralized set of verifiers. At this point, Web3 used the Sudo key to increase the number of verifiers.

Monitoring

Although the Sudo key was still involved in some operations, the monitoring system was activated to decide on the chain. For example, the oversight committee can elect the first council and technical committee.

Remove Sudo

The sudo unit was removed. Only the government could send basic appeals.

Inventory transfer capability

The Polkadot network is currently at this stage where the community voted for a runtime upgrade. The purpose of the runtime upgrade was to remove restrictions on inventory transfers.

Core functionality

This is the final step. This step is to activate parachain and XCMP sales. From this point on, the Polkadot network will have a fully functional chain. As core performance expands, token holders will decide the future of the network.

Ethereum 2.0

Ethereum 2.0 is an upgraded version of Ethereum that everyone in the digital currency world is looking forward to.
The Ethereum 2.0 upgrade is expected to provide the scalability and security that the protocol requires for a much larger scale.
The first phase of this upgrade is called Phase Zero and is expected to be ready by the end of this year.

Ethereum 2.0 will be better in many ways. Reduces power consumption and allows the network to process more transactions.

With this update, Ethereum will become a proof-of-stock (PoS) blockchain.
In other words, this upgrade will begin the consensus-proof mechanism.
Shard chains will also be introduced in Ethereum 2.0.

Conclusion

Ethereum and Polkadot are both among the top blockchain space projects and are also on the list of the top 10 cryptocurrencies in the world. Ethereum is older than Polkadot and is still in better condition. But Polkadot is also trying to present itself to users more and more by offering new and innovative services. You can also share your opinions about Ethereum and Polkadot with us and other users.
