I really don't agree with the use of masks...I see it as somewhat unnecessary.
But, it is the recommendation of the WHO. In the country where I live it is mandatory to wear them, otherwise you can even get a good fine.
A virus is really very small, it passes easily through a commonly used mask. So, I think it's absurd to wear a mask. It may minimize the fact that a person can cough and expel saliva drops onto surfaces that would later be sources of infection. But it's not the solution.
