RE: Mercury in the Pacific Ocean

in Project HOPE5 years ago

Hello @emiliomoron
A human mercury poisoning can quickly lead to death, almost without the possibility of saving the person even if you realize it quickly, even one of the great care to be taken in the use of thermometers in children is that, fortunately there are now digital thermometers.
But consuming it through fish is another thing, it is difficult to control that. Contamination levels are truly alarming in every sense.

That's right my friend, it is a very toxic metal, fortunately it has already been replaced by this type of applications, but there are still many others through which this element and its compounds reach the sea, contaminating our fish, it is a reality already detected, let's hope that from these studies solutions can emerge.
