Technology: an imposed need?
Hello community of STEEMIT in General, I hope you all have a great start to the week. Today I want to share with all of you a reflection based on the impact of technology in different aspects.
In general terms, last year was not very good for the human being, in view of this pandemic (which is still present), the number of deaths that were registered, the fact of having to deal with the confinement, among many other things. However, I would dare to say that for the world in general, for the planet as a living person, it was beneficial, in view of the fact that the shutdown of many companies led to a considerable decrease in pollution levels.

In addition, technology has advanced in an impressive way. Thinking a little bit about the preservation of the environment, although I really think that beyond this there is an interest in the fact that new technology is always much more expensive and of course generates higher dividends, however, let's say that this is another issue and we are going to focus on the technological advance and the good it has done and that very probably it will bring to the world.
In the case of clean energy or green energy, as it is also often called, which is thought that in a few years or decades could replace the one currently used, we have seen great advances in the use of solar energy with technology that allows a better use of this, with greater performance. It is proposed that it is a type of energy that comes from an inexhaustible source (the sun) that can provide everyone with its benefits, and that based on this premise we can and must- make greater use of it.
The electric cars promise to come to solve a big problem, and this is the big focus of pollution that means the use of fossil fuel, however, by using electric cars the amount of CO2 and other greenhouse gases are considered to decrease dramatically on the planet. With the consequent improvement in the quality of life of all, since to diminish the levels of global contamination affects directly in our state of health.

This all sounds pretty good, although I still think, regardless of how good it sounds, that this could be delayed, since there are interests in this happening but equally there are those who oppose it. I think it's up to us to wait, and see what happens eventually.
However, I must emphasize that, at least in my opinion, there are interests behind all these movements towards technology, even far beyond that need we increasingly have for technology, I often wonder the following:
- Is it really something that has emerged on its own or is it somehow imposed?
- Isn't this technology making us freer and more independent or just the opposite?
I don't have an answer to this, but I just hope that everything is heading towards something better and that it's for everyone.
I say goodbye, thank you very much for reading me.
I'd like to read your opinion about what I've raised in this post.
Good start to the week for everyone.

Hello @josevas217 friend, I believe that the limits between freedom and dependence that some technological advances can bring must be set by the human being.
While green "energies" promote a healthy life in terms of reducing CO2, on the other hand there is the case of the industry that by its nature needs the use of fossil fuels (for reasons of performance, speed, power, etc), that in a few words means that the changes to come will not be radical and absolute at all, however everything indicates that the "new trends" are those that drag the masses and in turn incline "world markets", that if it can greatly influence shape.
But we have the free will to support or undo those tools and technologies that, far from favoring us, are affecting us in some way.
Great post for thought.
Technology is moving towards a positive angle but it all depends on how we choose to make use of the advance.
Yes, I think that makes sense in the end.
It's always going to depend on how we as human beings use what we have in our hands
Actually an extraordinary article that you share with us in this occasion, if we stop to think we can realize that technology advances so fast that its influence among us comes without realizing it.
The previous characteristic makes us think that the evolution of every technological application is a necessity since we can verify this in any aspect of our lives, however, not everything is said.
Like you, I believe that the answer to your question is very complex to give since it will depend on the side from which we can analyze it, the truth is that every technological invention leads us to its use either by fashion, by necessity or by a subliminal imposition, perhaps a combination of all the options.
Thanks friend for sharing such interesting content with all of us, successes.
I believe that in the end everything has to do with the sum of many things, nothing is determined by just one cause. That's why I think it could be a little bit of real need and another implanted one.
Hello @josevas217
The advances will benefit us depending on the use that the human being makes of it.
But we know that there are many individual interests along the way, which delay its achievement.
Best regards.
However, the use we make of it determines the end. Beyond the objective with which it has been created
Interesting article sheared thanks for sharing @josevas217 technology in general is an important factor for any country growth with proper attention and effort put in good use toward improving country technological industries there will be much positive outcome in economic development in countries.
A country that does not have technology is practically condemned to failure, it will hardly be able to optimize its services, among many other things that will fail.
Thank you for commenting.
technology is a need and innovation is a desire. The need to improve and save mother earth is the reason for electric cars, the need to drive safely is why automated cars are driving toward full automation, the need to provide stable electricity in regions is the reason for battery plants, and renewable energy. Technology is an imposed need and not just a neccessity.

Nicely Put!
Well, personal opinion, technology is moving in the direction to achieve these two objectives:
Dear @josevas217 you make some very interesting points in your post and if I may add...
I think we have become a bit more dependent of technology and there is always a trade of when it comes to tech.
Take for instance Electric cars. On one hand it would reduce co2 emission, However as per some reports that I was going through the cost of building those batteries would be enourmous on the environemt and it may not be as eco friendly solution as we hope it to be . So that is the trade off.
However we humans would keep striving to make it better.
Nice reading your post thought provoking and enjoyable my friend.
One of the biggest goal of tech in this decade is making the world free from greenhouse gas emission. It has become a need to get this technolofical improvement so it could help grow the economy as well improve the standard of living while protecting earth.
