The fractal Millennium

Some assign the origin of Generation X with the public internet going live- maybe not the most widely held perception of old new worlders born in the 80’s.

Imagine that, Gen X part of the Millennial generation. Well, someone had to party in 1999.

No, Generation Y, these are the folk who make up the poster boards of advertising offices. Whether at TV or Internet companies, Gen(Y) is the face of the Millennium.

Generation Z? These are eyes and ears tired of hearing and being associated with the word 'millennial'. After all, the word is old like their 22 year old parents.

Hard to imagine the green-eyed, electric cube wielding generation classified alongside the blue-eyed, flat, curved screens of today. Advertisers have indeed done their jobs.

Consider though how GenXers view the TV generation. Baby Boomers had no imagination of a global Internet. Their screen information flows one way. Xers bridge the great divide toward claiming a global voice. For most Boomers, this was impossible.

Also, throughout history, “X” has been associated with finding buried treasure. Not surprising how the culture of the green light e-cubes meshes rather well with Bitcoiners.

Wh(Y) the reach back in culture? Maybe Myllenyals became overly obsessed with social media. It is an addiction destined to sacrifice a whole generation before finding comfort in a la(Z)ting voice.

For the TV generation, “X” was less often used by treasure hunters than it was to denote something for X-Termination. (X)=treasure felt old to Boomers, something their grandparents used. Remember that the X-Men are hunted to the point of extinction by an established administration.

(X)=Bitcoin=distributed (open-source) applications. Gen X, Y, Z finds division by nature and social construct. Gen XYZ finds uniformity in the Internet. This makes the Millennial generation(s) fractal by nature and mind.

Fractal technology must be open-source and distributed, a construct the Internet has failed to achieve as per initial design. Don’t blame (Y)ers. They were the first Internet-infants to share their minds. Such a task was not possible for Xers, only the courage to dream about one day sharing intelligence in real-time for anyone, anywhere.

Sharing the mind of a person born into a world with the Internet is indeed a quantum leap for humanity. Still, GenZs must think it almost ancient having been raised by i-parents. Maybe some Z-eyes have been captivated by quantum AI.

Will the next GenAI grow up with fractally? Claim your voice now!

Hi @machnbirdsparo

Interesting post that you share with us. There are many things that since I have thought more about the evolution of today's society I realize that the differences between generations are more marked, especially if we look at what is technological.
I am from 1983, and what has happened since 2000, well, it is one change after another, and it is basically at a technological level, and of course, this has had a great impact on the social vision of the youngest.
I hope that the trend towards Blockchain and decentralization will be more and more present in everything.
