When that happens it is very important to pause for 15 minutes, forget about the pressure for a moment and then focus on moving forward. At first it was a bit difficult to achieve it because one feels pressure, a good method that has worked for me is to think that the time limit is beyond what is really programmed and that way I know I feel more relaxed and can finish.
