Action Silences Doubters
It does not matter who you are and where you are coming from, there will be people who will doubt you and your ability. The truth is that everyone cannot believe in you, and some will say that you are not even good enough for what you want to achieve. Trust me, when you share your dreams, some people will think that you cannot achieve it, while some others will think that the dream is impossible. Some may even laugh at you for the dreams, criticise you, remind you of your past errors, or even try to oppose you. When these begin to happen, you do not need to argue with them or try to convince them with your words that you can do it, but let your actions do that for you.

Actions have more convincing power and have louder tone than words. You do not have to persuade people of your ability with your words, but show them what you can do by doing it. When you have gotten the result, it will speak in clear terms about your ability. When you are committed to your dream and keep pressing towards it without a recourse to the doubters, when you finally achieve the result, it will drown their voices. If someone mocks or criticises you, do not be angry or discouraged, rather see it as a call to take up actions and prove them wrong. Do not allow their words of discouragement to get to you, rather use them as motivation to take more actions.
Throughout history, there are lots of people who were doubted, overlooked, underestimated, and almost relegated to the back until they proved themselves through actions. For example, it was recorded that Thomas Edison, when he was growing, was told that he "was too stupid to learn." He did not have to argue with them nor did he try to convince them that he was not unable to learn. Rather he took up actions to pursue after his passion in science. He worked intensely hard until he made his way into the science hall of fame. To the point that he was recognized as the inventor of the light bulb. Now, everyone remembers him for his amazing feat in the world of science, not for the words of doubters.
You cannot silence doubters by argument, neither can you face their words with mere words only. Rather you can answer them by your action and it will be loud. There is something that is worth noting: even though doubts can come from the external, that is someone else, but it can also come from within. As a matter of fact, I have observed that there are times that the loudest doubter can actually be the voice from your inside. For example, you may want to do something and a voice within you can begin to whisper things like this to you; "you are not ready," "you cannot succeed at this," "no one has ever done this before." But you should also answer these inner doubting voices with actions.

To silence these doubting voices, learn to take the first step. You do not have to take a giant stride at the initial, but just take a first step and you will be surprised what you will achieve from that singular step. It is the first step that will birth the other steps which will produce the results needed. Whatever you want to do, the key lies in starting. Do what you can, take the step you want to, and make do with what you have. Every step you take does not leave you the same, it will draw you closer to the dream you have. Even if you did not break through with the step, at least it taught you lessons.
The small wins of today are part of what sums up to the major victories of tomorrow. So if you feel like you are beginning to doubt yourself or you are about to crack under the words to doubters, just take a step towards your dream. But one thing you should have in mind is that you are not taking the step because you want to take your revenge or because of pride, but because you have a dream to fulfill, and when you do, you will prove them wrong.
