LOVE AND FRIENDSHIP // VALENTINE'S DAY

Greetings my dear readers who make life in this great platform of @Gems, first of all I want to wish you a happy and blessed start of the week.

This time I want to share with you Valentine's Day, known colloquially as the day of love and friendship internationally. And although this is an occasion that we can celebrate every day of our lives, for centuries this date is commemorated in honor of St. Valentine, then I will summarize a bit of this history

In the middle of the third century, specifically in the year 269, Rome was led by Emperor Claudius II, at this time the persecutions of Christians were taking place, this emperor considered that his army should be made up of single people, because in this way there would be no sentimental ties and distractions to the same, to be thinking about their loved ones, for that reason he did not allow his soldiers to marry, so Valentine, was celestina and helped these couples to celebrate their marriage through Christian rituals and secretly.

Soon St. Valentine was discovered by Emperor Claudius II, who ordered that he be beheaded as a result of his rebellion, disobedience and even more for his faith in the Christian religion, this horrible act was executed on February 14, 270 and that is why since that day is celebrated in his name the international day of love and friendship.

Based on this fact, even though on this date as I mentioned before, the day of love and friendship is celebrated. We can celebrate these activities every day, because love for our neighbor is something that we must show at all times, remember that love is like a garden of beautiful roses that needs to be watered every day, otherwise it will wither with the passing of the days. This moral is very true, sometimes we tend to neglect the people who love us, because we think that our work is more than done and on the contrary, just as we feed ourselves every day, love needs to be kept alive in our lives.

In this sense, friendship is an affective bond that is maintained between two or more people, it is basically about having that unconditional person you can count on at all times, who does not have a good friend in life is a lonely person who lacks affection and self-esteem, because he or she is missing that helping hand that is with him or her in good times and bad, that does not give any importance to your social status, that encourages you and motivates you to fight for your dreams and that gives you his or her shoulder when you need it.

The most beautiful thing about love and friendship is that in your partner you can find these two important qualities. If you already have it you must take care of it in the best way, let's keep in mind that trust in any relationship is paramount and is the basis of any marriage, this will ensure a long and happy married life and what better than a two for one, in other words, find your best friend in your partner at least I have that great blessing God gave me an excellent life partner, that more than my husband is my confidant and my unconditional support and for that I am eternally grateful.

Love is a feeling that is intrinsic in our lives and as a sign of it our beloved father gave us his firstborn for the forgiveness of our sins, Jesus Christ died on the Cross to save us all and that is the greatest sign of love that we can show in the world, being a perfect person I went through bitter pills and humiliations just for you, for me and for all of us who live here, that and much more shows us the infinite love of our God, who takes care of us, guides and protects us at all times. Therefore, today as every day let us thank God for his great love for his earthly children.
