SEARCHING FOR HAPPINESS
Greetings dear members who remain in this prestigious platform @ProjectHOPE, this time I want to share with all readers a common theme but in the passing of life we find it difficult to find easily, if I'm talking about the infinite search for full and absolute happiness.
Happiness can be defined as the set of emotions that are felt when a person or individual achieves their proposed goals, it will depend on our mood, attitude and behavior with the people who are in our environment and to perform the activities of daily life. So why we are not happy all the time? What makes us have mood swings? Happiness is a natural right, so as human beings we are always in search of it constantly, because who does not like to be happy.
Could it be that we are condemned to pursue it continuously? It could indicate that it is so, since happiness is an emotion that cannot be retained all your life, but you can try to keep it with you as many times as you propose, because your efforts and actions will depend on how much you can embrace it in your existence.
Just imagine that happiness is your dream, you will try to design and organize a strategic plan that allows you to touch it, so you can have it with you, however in this search you can go through a series of stumbles and obstacles that should make you stronger and more perseverant every day so that in your next attempts you can achieve it, do not give space in your life to failure, this if it takes you away from absolute happiness.
What really leads us to seek happiness is at least to be able to share and enjoy those small but at the same time great moments in life that bring you a drink of joy such as academic progress, finding that ideal person, forming a beautiful family, watching a good movie, taking time off to have fun, sharing with friends, no doubt these and many more are moments that give you joy but that can vary from one person to another so the search for each of these moments will depend on yourself.
Some of the things that sometimes prevent us from achieving the happiness we long for in life are:
* Giving more importance than we should to the opinions of third parties: listening to the opinions of others sometimes ends up becoming a real obstacle, because we put their interests above our own and end up feeling dissatisfied.
* Not appreciating yourself above all: if you are a person with low self-esteem, you will have problems to be happy, since self-esteem and self-worth is an important tool that gives you security and confidence in everything you undertake.
* Do not feel weak if you need help: it is normal that sometimes you need an extra hand to be able to perform some activities, this does not devalue you, on the contrary, it makes you more humble and learn from teamwork, which is of utmost importance in life.
* Not having self-control: do not try to control everything in your environment, it is extremely impossible to have control of everything around you, on the contrary, you can control yourself, this can be of great benefit to you.
* Not assuming the consequences of your failures: do not look for culprits for your mistakes where there are none, remember that you learn from your mistakes, because they will help you to elaborate a plan with greater perfection than the previous one.
* Envying your neighbor: each person has his or her own personality with virtues and defects that can be improved throughout life, envy is not a good advisor and it will mow you down in the search for true happiness.
Pursue happiness every day of your life, do not get tired of this long but beautiful race, the fruits obtained from it are very rewarding and worth all the effort you invest to achieve it.
