The decision to sell Steemit came because its owners likely realized that it was a rapidly failing platform, and would go out out of business very shortly under its current business model and management. Selling it was the only viable option left. By selling it, Steemit will indeed be under new management which will mean at least 2 major changes:

1. Steemit will no longer be part or the Steem Blockchain; It will instead become part of Tron's Blockchain...arguably a much better system, as well as having a much higher CAP; #13 vs only #77 for Steem.

2. Steemit will more than likely no longer be under any part of Steemit's current management and Witness system. It will instead be under Tron's, which no doubt will result in massive changes to the Steemit Forum platform, as it is migrated into Tron's Blockchain.

I'm sure that there will be some long-time Steemit members who will not like these changes. But in reality, it was because of them that Steemit owners were forced to take such drastic measures in the first place.

Unfortunately, in reality, there were a number of long-time Steemit members and even some Steemit Witnesses, who no longer wanted to play fair, but instead chose to abuse the Steemit system (such as down-voting) to their own personal advantage. @themarkymark and his sidekick @buildawhale were two such members. Others included @steemcleaners @roomservice @bullionstackers @quarantine @the-reef @block-power @quarantine @blockcreate @steemcleaner and others.

I tried warning them several times that this was coming (Yes, I knew), but they all chose to ignore me and instead downvote all my posts (present, past and future) in an effort to try and silence me.

So I guess I get the last laugh after all, especially since I am quite confident that none of the above members will be part of the new system under Tron. Justice will indeed be done.
