I'm here to share with you guys, some decisions which can affect your life and future negatively. In this article I will telling you guys one decision that can affect your life negatively. Do well to enjoy the read🙂.
Spending Reckless
This is a major mistake a lot of people make, although, it is not easy but it is a decision that affects our life negatively. Spending reckless is a major weakness we have as human beings but few people overcome this weakness and become rich and wealthy in future. There are so many luxuries in life and we all want these luxuries but if we want to enjoy these luxuries over a long period of time, we should control the way and manner we spend our hard earned income. Some people, as soon as they make small money, they go to buy a car and become cashless, just because they want to meet up to their peers level. The cost of fueling the car and maintenance, they won't have, hence, the car has become a liability to them.
I know of a friend of mine, who did football betting and won big. He won close to $100,000. He was so excited that he threw a big party for winning such big bet. Couple of days after the party, my friend got an international passport and he used the remaining money to travel to 4 different countries and came back to Nigeria broke. Still this very day, he regrets the way he spent the money he won. Many people are like my friend, they get a huge sum, and starts buying assets that depreciates in value over time, instead of buying assets that appreciates in value over time such as landed properties or making a reasonable and risk free investments. We all want to live that good life, but we need to be able to spend below our income to have such life in future. Cultivate the habit today of spending below your income and you will be glad you made such a wise decision.
