In my opinion, this is the most important feature that Steemit is lacking to become more popular.

Chat options are really important in a platform to socialize with people, get acquainted and become friends. Not everyone is having a discord account, in that case communication is really difficult in terms of becoming a friend with someone we really wish to be.

So I think If this feature gets implemented that might help Steemit to gain more popularity and become more user-friendly.
