Rove Beetle

I chose the dung beetle to participate in this contest, and now I would like to share my experience and thoughts about it with you. I hope you will enjoy reading it. In our country, this is a very common insect, especially when we grow different kinds of vegetables or work in paddy fields. I often see this insect in rice fields and also in seedbeds. I personally noticed it in my own seedbed, where it seemed quite harmful to young rice plants. These insects suck the sap from rice leaves, which is why we consider them harmful pests. Even though they can damage crops, they actually look quite with their different colors, and they are also able to fly. I once used insecticide in my seedbed to control them because otherwise they would harm the rice plants. They come in different colors and there are many species of them.

You can find them almost anywhere in vegetable fields or paddy land. Some people might think it is a type of fly, but it is not a fly; it is actually known as a beetle. This insect does not usually harm humans. When you go near it or try to catch it, it quickly tries to hide. When I was taking photos and videos, it kept moving around out of fear, but I carefully managed to capture some pictures and videos, which I am sharing with you today. Although using insecticide is not always the best option, sometimes we have no choice if we want to protect our rice crops.
