I used to play cricket very well in my childhood. I used to play cricket well at home or with my neighbors. There used to be competition between different teams to get me into the team when playing cricket around my house. I was in high school at that time. I was of a slim build. I had a very fast ball in cricket. One day, a cricket match was organized in our village school ground between the junior team of the high school and the senior team of our village. I played cricket for the junior team of the high school. That day, it was my first game in a big field. My younger brother, my father, and many people from the village went to watch the game in the field. That day, I took six wickets for the junior team alone. I got the wickets of the good players of the senior team. My ball was fast. Today, I will share my memorable story about cricket.

Playing time at the cricket field near the house
That day, our junior team won the cricket match. The whole village wanted to know who I was. My brother and father came home and praised my game a lot. From then on, I started playing for the senior team of our village. I played in cricket tournaments in different parts of our district. I was the opening pacer of the village senior cricket team. The seniors were impressed with the speed of my ball. From then on, my cricket game started to improve.
I was thirteen or fourteen years old then. My body was slim. I had a fast ball in my cricket game. Many people in the field wanted to know my father's name. Later, while playing cricket in a big tournament in our district for the senior team, I got an offer to play for a big club in our country's capital Dhaka. I bowled good pace against that club. After the game, I was offered to go to Dhaka to play for their club. I was very happy then, but my family did not want me to pursue a career as a cricketer and did not let me go.
At that time, I was in the junior team and was much smaller than the seniors. At that time no one knew that I had a faster ball. When I practiced, everyone in our team could understand the speed of my ball. After the game started, the ball was first given to me. When I bowled at the crease of the field, everyone applauded after seeing the speed and bounce of the ball. I bowled the batsmen out every over. Believe me, I still remember that game.
After the game, some players from the senior team offered to play cricket with them that very day. Whenever there was a cricket tournament, they would take me from home on a motorcycle. From then on, everyone in our village knew me as a cricket player. Currently, I am an electrical engineer, but most people in our village know me for playing cricket.
I used to play cricket very well, but I could not take cricket as my profession. I could not take cricket as my profession for two reasons, which still bother me. Firstly, I used to bowl fast, so there was a lack of training to improve my fitness. That is why I started getting back injuries at one point. The second reason is that my family did not want me to pursue a career as a cricket player. My family wanted me to study and pursue a career. But I love playing cricket with all my heart, which my friends and office colleagues still understand. So I have learnt that maintaining fitness is very important for a player.

When to exercise to improve fitness
I play less cricket now. I don't go to the playground due to office and family pressure. After stopping sports, various diseases attack my body. So I consult a doctor and the doctor advises me to do different types of exercises to improve my fitness again. I go to the field to play cricket again every week and do light exercises. Gradually, my body's fitness improves. I think people who have been playing sports since childhood should not stop playing sports suddenly. It is important to exercise regularly to maintain fitness.

In Indonesia, cricket is known as "kasti," a traditional English sport with unique and fun rules.
We used to play cricket a lot in junior high school, but now it's no longer a familiar sport in schools. It's a physically demanding game, requiring strength to kick the ball and run to avoid throws. For me, it's not just a beautiful memory, but a sport that unites people across religion, race, and social status.
Age factors encourage us to choose the right sport to maintain our physical and mental health, because cricket is not a light game...
I wish you success, sir @mahadisalim 🙏
Thank you Sir @sojib1996 🙏
¡Holaaa amigo!🤗
