The Beauty of Holiness!

Lala was a very humble and loyal lady with all the qualities of a good wife. She was an epitome of beauty and everything about her speaks of beauty. She is tall and dark skinned, has a rounded face with a pointed nose. She was loved by all who came across her but one thing was her problem; she never had any close friend because of her upbringing.

She felt it was normal until she came of age and her began to appear boring to her. She tried to get close to people but she noticed she was not fitting into their picture. Well, something inside of her kept telling her to relax and face her life and see where it leads. Lola loves God so dearly and never stops spreading the gospel to people who cares to listen.

All her life, she has kept that holiness of life. Speak in with a humble tone, love and care for people, handles anger, obey God in all she does and still live that normal life with ease. She was never ready to please anybody and then displease her God, that was how much she loves God.

Life began to move gradually and Lala was turning 30 the next year, she was so worried about all of that. It kept her worried because she had no friend, nobody to talk to or has anyone said “hi” to her in a long time.

To her greatest surprise, during one of her morning jog around the street, she noticed a car stopped by her side, but she kept jogging as the car kept following her. She decided to stop to know who it was and what the person might want. She stopped and the car was whined down, but she didn't recognize the driver but the diver handed an envelop to her with her name boldly written on it.

Lola stood still and watched the car drove off, but her heart kept beating fast with all anticipation of what was inside the envelop. She still wondered how they knew her name and where she could be at that moment. When she got home, she said a short prayer and gently opened the envelop, and found a hand written letter that says....

“Dear Lala,
You may not know me, but I have known you for years. I have watched your life, your discipline, your kindness, and your unwavering faith. You walk with grace, not seeking attention, yet your life speaks louder than words. The beauty you carry is not just in your appearance, but in your holiness.”

“In a world where noise is mistaken for value, your silence has been your crown. Your obedience to God, your refusal to compromise, and your pure heart have drawn more people than you know.”

Tears filled Lala's eyes and she had thought her life was unnoticed, she had even questioned God about it but today, she has received a letter of her life and at the end of the letter was an invitation to attend a small fellowship meeting around the neighbourhood with other people who had been inspired by her life.

This was a great deal for Lala, she had thought her life was over, but this was just the begining of her life and as she turned thirty, she had so many friends who came to her and walked side by side with her.

Lala's life became a living testimony which shows that beauty of holiness is not loud or desperate, but gentle and enduring.
