Like every year, this year too, the 47th Science Fair was held on 7th and 8th June 2026 at Saint Placid's School and College, one of the most traditional educational institutions in Chittagong. My son is a student of this school, so I try to take my two sons to this fair every time. The students' sincerity, hard work, and creativity were clearly evident through each project.

Solar power

Students from the school's science club presented their innovative projects at the fair under the supervision of their teachers. After visiting the fair this time, I felt that the most priority among the projects in this fair was the ongoing electrical problem and in that case, the problem of electricity was solved by using solar power. The students presented their projects to form an environmentally friendly smart city.

This science fair was open to the public from 9 am to 4 pm every day. Parents brought their children so that they could gain new ideas about various science-based topics. I went to visit this fair with my two children on June 8. So that the children could get an idea about science topics. The students were informing everyone in detail about each project, which I liked very much. The presentation of the students was commendable. The best projects were selected from the participating educational institutions at a closing ceremony on June 8. The winners were awarded prizes by St. Placid School and College Principal Samuel Sabuj Bala CSC, which will inspire students to innovate more in the future.
