SC-S29/W5 – Nostalgia Of The Little Me: My Favorite Childhood Place

By favorite place we mean a place where we find peace of mind and are able to keep ourselves away from worldly problems for a while. These places are basically places that we like or feel very close to us.My childhood was spent in the village. Although I am currently somewhat detached from the village. However, I have spent many of my memorable moments in this city as well. Since I spent my childhood in the village, I spent most of my time in the natural environment of the village, near the river, trees, and fields. So today I will describe a place similar to my childhood favourite place ( Patenga Sea Beach .

Patenga Sea Beach is a popular tourist spot in Chittagong. I go to this beach whenever I get time. The roar of the waves on the seashore here cheers up my mind. Similarly, I choose this Patenga Beach to enjoy some silence and tranquility from the noisy city. Since this beach is located near my house, reaching the beach is a little easier and my trip is much more enjoyable. Visiting this beach during holidays is even more enjoyable. Here I am not only alone, but also when someone comes to visit my house, I also take them to this Patenga Beach and we all enjoy it together.

Once I took my son to the beach but by mistake I didn't take extra clothes for my son while going for a trip. I thought maybe my son wouldn't get wet in the sea water today. But my son went to the beach and first went straight into the sea and jumped and swam. But when he came out of the sea, there was no dress for him to change into. We all went around a few shops near the beach for a while to look for clothes for our son. But although there were various types of snails and oysters available on the beach, we had to go to a market a little further away for clothes. Then I bought a new dress for my son and dressed him. After coming home because of the wet clothes, my son developed a mild fever.

When I go to Patenga Beach or anywhere, I prefer going out with my whole family. Apart from that, going out alone is much more fun than going out with my whole family. In this case, the whole time from going out to coming home is spent happily. Moreover, the children enjoy going out a lot more. My eldest son enjoys being near the sea. He especially enjoys Patenga Beach a lot because he can get wet and play here. He can make temporary houses on the beach with sand. The way I enjoyed swimming in the river and building houses with sand as a child, I have seen my two sons enjoy Patenga Beach in the same way.Times change, but some memories and games stay with us throughout our lives. Looking at our next generation, we can relive our childhood memories.

The sea is a place where I not only feel relaxed when I go, but I can also learn a lot when I go here. Moreover, when I go to the sea, every person enjoys it in their own way. I like what I see and I can feel that joy within myself. Moreover, the waves on the seashore hit the shore with new initiatives every time. Every time the waves of the sea take various garbage created by humans into the depths of their own sea. The beauty of each wave and the deep thought that we see in this sea wave, we get inspiration to start a new work every time.
