I am @saifuddinmahmud from Bangladesh. There is a beautiful and amazing challenge. The challenge name is SC-S29/W2- Nostalgia Of The Liitle Me : My School Days organised by @sohanurrahman. I hope everyone likes my post.
A moment that defines your school life
(A day you will never forget, your first day at school or any happy, funny, or emotional school experience that still lives in your heart.)
Every day, every moment of school life is worth remembering. That excitement, the joy of sports and school holidays still floats in my mind. A moment of school life is really very happy, a funny moment makes me smile when I remember it. I studied in a village school. The road from our house to school was a dirt road. So on rainy days it would get muddy. I had to walk to school with my shoes in my hand. Almost all my friends did this. I would walk to school with my shoes in my hand, then wash my feet and put my shoes on and go to class. One day all my friends planned that from tomorrow onwards we would not come to school wearing shoes again. So the next day we Maximum friends came to school without shoes. The class started and sir came. He was our head teacher who used to take math classes and was the class teacher. Sir came and sat down and called the students. Suddenly he noticed that many of the boys were not wearing shoes. Sir asked where are your shoes. We said sir, we come from home to school barefoot, so we As long as it rains, I will not bring shoes. Hearing this, Sir got very angry. He made us stand in the mud outside the class to do math that day. Whoever could do math would wash his feet and enter the class. But Sir played a trick. He made us do the math that he had not made us do. So none of us could do math anymore and at the same time we could not enter the class. We stood like this for about 45 minutes. The other students in the class were laughing at us. We were very embarrassed, but that moment of that day was really different. From then on, even if we came to school on rainy days with shoes in our hands on the muddy road, we would put on our shoes right before entering the class.
Describe how you felt as a student
(your fears, excitement, struggles, or happiness inside the school walls.)
There are all moments of fear, excitement and joy in school life. I enjoyed these two things very much in school. The teacher at school used to give homework every day. If we could not do the homework the next day, he would whip us. It was shameful to be beaten in front of everyone. This fear always worked in my mind. So at least I learned to read even if I was beaten by the teacher. If I could read, sir would tell us good, write good, very good in the homework notebook, which gave us great joy. Going to school was a lot of joy and excitement for me. I used to play sports before the class started, eat tiffin at tiffin time and then play penfights on the table. On the day of the exam results, I used to find out who I got more marks from. The joy of school holidays.
In short, as a student, my school life was a combination of the fear of being beaten by the teacher inside the school, the excitement of the results after the exam, or the joy of being able to study.
A friend or teacher who mattered to you
(Someone who inspired you, supported you, or disciplined you in a way that helped shape your character.)
I have had many teachers in my school life. One of the biggest lessons I have learned in life is the sense of responsibility. There was a teacher shortage in our school. There was no separate teacher for 2 subjects. That teacher used to take Bengali classes. There was no teacher for social studies and science subjects. He used to take our 3 classes Bengali, social studies and science together. He did not let us miss any class due to lack of education. Because he knew that if we missed these classes, we would fall behind in our studies. So he used to take classes for 3 subjects alone. Because of his benevolence and responsibility, we did not fall behind in our studies. His behavior inspired all of us.
A mistake or lesson from school life
(An experience that taught you honesty, responsibility, confidence, patience, or an important life value.)
School taught me many things which later influenced my personal life. One day in school, our headmaster was taking an agricultural education class. The subject was flower cultivation. Immediately, sir told us that you have to make a flower garden in the school yard. You have to do all the work. We have to buy bamboo, make a basket, prepare the soil, plant flower seedlings and take care of it. But none of us were experts in these tasks. But we were confident that we could do it. Accordingly, we started working. We started working patiently. We started working with the little experience we had and we were able to succeed. Through this work in school life, it taught me to be self-confident, as well as responsibility, self-confidence, patience and a mentality of not giving up that makes any complicated task easy.
Reflect on how those school days shaped who you are now
(How your school days influenced your dreams, personality, or the values you still carry with you in life.
The lessons of school life have taught me a lot.
School has given me the courage to dream. The inspiration of teachers in the classroom and the competition with friends taught me how to dream big. The seeds of those dreams helped me dream big in my personal life.
Friendship, teamwork, and networking in the classroom taught me to be fair, easy-going, and responsible.
My school experiences taught me the importance of self-motivation and perseverance. They taught me how to overcome difficult subjects, exam challenges, and maintain a competitive spirit with patience.
Those school days were not just about studying, but also shaped me into a dreamer, a compassionate person, and a consistent striver. Those influences still shape my every decision, goal, and value.
Thanks to my dear steemian friends Who read my post.

Greetings,
Thank you so much for participating in the contest.
I truly enjoyed reading your school life memories. The way you described walking to school on muddy village roads with your shoes in your hands reflects the real struggle of rural students during the rainy season in our country. Despite those hardships, it clearly shows how eager and determined students are to attend school, which I found very touching.
Your mathematics teacher appeared quite strict to me, but at the same time, I believe that such strictness often teaches us discipline and responsibility. Many of the values we carry into adulthood are shaped by these lessons during school life.
As a student, the way you expressed fear, joy, and excitement deeply resonated with me because school life is truly a mix of all these emotions. Doing homework out of fear of punishment brought back many memories from my own childhood. Waiting for exam results and enjoying school holidays are also parts of school life, and you described them beautifully.
I was especially inspired by the teacher who continued teaching multiple subjects despite the shortage of teachers. He was truly an ideal teacher who never allowed his students to fall behind. For him, teaching was a responsibility he never stepped away from, and that dedication deserves great respect.
In my opinion, the experience of creating a flower garden, although not a book-based lesson, was an important part of practical learning. Through this activity, students learn how to plant trees, build fences, and care for plants. Such tasks help develop hard work, confidence, patience, responsibility, and teamwork, values that play a vital role in shaping a student’s character. Your post beautifully tells how school life contributed to building the person you are today.
