A Peaceful Winter Afternoon by the River

A few days ago, I went to the village. One of the most beautiful sights in the village is watching boats move along the river. The slow movement of the boats and the quiet sound of the water create a peaceful atmosphere. However, during winter, you rarely see boats on the river because the water level becomes very low.

Even in winter, the river has its own kind of beauty. The wide sandy areas look almost like a small desert stretching across the horizon. The soft golden sand shines under the afternoon sunlight, and the open space makes the place feel calm and quiet. Although there is less water, the beauty of the river does not completely disappear.

One afternoon, when I went to the riverbank, I saw my cousin and my uncle fishing. They were standing patiently with their fishing hooks, hoping to catch something. But it is difficult to catch fish in winter. I felt curious and excited to watch them more closely. So, I decided to walk from one side of the river to the other. Since the water level was low, I was able to cross the river on foot. If there had been more water, it would not have been possible to walk across so easily.

Walking in the river water in the late afternoon felt really nice. The water was clear and cool, and it made my body feel refreshed and relaxed. A gentle breeze was blowing, which made the experience even more enjoyable. There was a peaceful and pleasant feeling while walking through the shallow water.

I went over to my cousin, talked with him for a while, and watched them patiently waiting to catch fish. After some time, I noticed two people going into the river in a small boat. It is not a common sight during winter because boats do not move much when the water is low. But during the rainy season, seeing boats on the river is very normal.

Still, the whole scene looked incredibly beautiful. These simple scenes of rural life truly bring peace to the eyes and comfort to the heart.
