Location & How to Get There

A few days ago, I visited Playard Courtside, which is located in United City, 100 Feet Madani Avenue, Dhaka. It is situated inside the Chef’s Table Courtside area.

You can easily reach this place by CNG, auto-rickshaw, or bike. The road condition is quite good. Rickshaw fare usually costs around 30–40 BDT, which feels a bit expensive for such a short distance.

However, if you get down near Al Mustafa Mosque and walk the remaining distance, you can explore several other playgrounds and ride spots along the way, which is actually a nice experience.

On Fridays and Saturdays, Playard Courtside remains open from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM. On other days, it opens from 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

Service, Structure & Environment

Playard Courtside is basically a multi-purpose zone. It has a playground area for jumping and various physical activities, along with a cozy coffee corner where visitors can relax.

Personally, I really liked the environment. The interior is colorful, calm, and enjoyable. There isn’t much to see in terms of attractions, but the decoration, colorful lighting, coffee experience, and gaming vibe make it quite unique. The customer service was also good and well-managed.

To enter the playground, you need to purchase a ticket, which starts from around $7.94 for just 30 minutes. In my opinion, this is very expensive. There are no rides inside, and I honestly couldn’t find a solid reason to spend more than 900 BDT just for jumping.

Most of the visitors here are rich kids or well-off families who come for entertainment or hangouts. For them, the ticket price might feel reasonable, but for me, it doesn’t really make sense.

Payment Method

One of the biggest advantages of this place is that almost all types of payment methods are available. From bank cards to mobile payments, everything is supported. You don’t need to carry cash at all. Whether you’re buying coffee or entering the playground, the payment process is fast and hassle-free.

Overall, I found this place really impressive because of its environment. You only need to pay a ticket fee to enter the playground area. However, entry to the café and selfie spots is completely free, and you can explore those areas without any restrictions.

Although I didn’t try the coffee myself, the coffee prices here are quite high compared to regular cafés.
