Comic Style Guidelines for Newcomers - Achievement #1 by [Cryptogecko - #Club100]

Hello Steem Family,

This is a story of a girl who found Steemit online and wants to join the platform, but does not know how to go about it, so let us see what she does.

After doing some research on the subject of blockchain and cryptocurrencies, a girl came across Steemit. This is when she was researching about the topic of "social media on blockchain".

She found a platform during her research, "Steemit". Steemit is a platform built on the Steem blockchain - She read online.

In her observations, she learned that many people were earning cryptocurrency by producing high quality content on Steemit. Her intention was to enroll and start writing on the platform, but she did not know how to get started.

Therefore, she decided to ask her friend, who is also a newcomer on the Steemit platform, for advice. The friend did not know how to guide her properly, so she suggested her that she meet a group of people who gave advice to newcomers (we will call them "The Wise Group").

In order to obtain guidance from these people, the girl went to them.

A member of the Wise Group spoke to the newcomer girl about the achievement tasks; among all the achievement tasks, the newcomer girl was advised to finish her achievement task #1 first.

She got to know that as part of achievement task #1, newcomers are asked to introduce themselves to the community.

The newcomer girl was asked to post her introduction achievement post in the newcomers' community. This is the community which helps the newcomers with their first few achievements.

She was also told that she needs to complete her profile on the Steemit platform before creating her achievement #1 post. This was needed because a complete profile will help the newcomers get verified easily and it will also attract more people to her blog for being an authentic profile.

The girl wanted to know more about the achievement tasks, so she asked the wise group about the achievement tasks. "What are they, and why do we need to complete them?" - She asked the wise group.

"Achievement tasks are a way of making newcomers accustomed to the workings of the Steemit platform and these tasks help the newcomers to know how this community driven platform works. The achievement tasks also help the newcomers to understand about the tools available on the Steem blockchain and the tasks help newcomers to know how they can use these tools to make their lives easier." - The wise group explained.

The wise group also told the newcomer girl that there are a total of six achievement tasks, but she needs to complete them one by one.

The moderators who verify the achievements only verify one task at a time and after getting verified on a task, they tell the newcomers to move on to the next task.

The newcomer girl was given a cheatsheet by the wise group to help her with the first achievement task. The cheatsheet contained the points that she needs to follow and write about to complete the task successfully.

It was understood by the girl that the achievement tasks played an important role in introducing new members to the community and helping them gain a better understanding of the platform.

Now she was happy that she knew what needs to be done to start her journey on the Steemit platform. She was excited to go to her home and start writing her achievement #1 post.
