Hi friends,
I am @poorvik from India, ima photographer and graphic designer, I like to share the knowledge of photoshop skills that I learned. I already posted several tutorials on steemit today I am going to share with you a tutorial on photoshop effects "How to make overlapping text effects"
For this, I have downloaded an image from Pixabay, and open with photoshop. let us see the next steps here:

Step 1:

Open a new drawing page in photoshop with the size of 16 x 12 and 300 resolution, drag the image into the drawing page

Step 2:

Using TEXT tool, type any word on the image

Step 3:

Rasterize the texts by going Menu >layer> rasterise>layer

Step 4:

Using magicwand tool select the text by click on them

Step 5:

Now right click and select leyer 1 ie, image and cut the image using shortcyut ctrl+x

Step 6:

Paste the clipboard and detel the text

Step 7:

Now select the pasted layer, give it a stroke by going Menu>leyer>layerstyle>storke>choosecolor>size 3points

Step 8:

Now goto menu>image >adjustments>hue/saturaion and change its colortheme

Now you can see the effect on the image

Save the file as jpeg or png
