I was one of the earlier players and investors who invested on Splinerlands cards. I spend considerable amount on buying card packs and also purchased many cards from open market when price of the card was very high. Game was very fair and enjoyable before the last one and half year. Now it has become a tool for the powerful people to earn money. Splintelands is dead now. People still invest on purchasing cards etc. in a hope that they'll earn some profit from investing but their hope gets shattered when they come to the reality.

Once you had freedom to play with Alpha, beta or other edition cards. Now, they had changed it and introduced wild and modern format in which older cards can be played in wild format only. For playing in wild format you'll have to spend 2000 DEC for a quarter of the month, which is usually one season of the game. So, they are demanding money to allow you to play. This is sheer loot as it is discouraging people to play with older version of cards. This means the older cards have become useless and your investment on that has become highly unprofitable.

Apart from it, bots are dominating the game. Splintelands is supporting bots unfairly. I tried to play in wild format. So, recently I spend 2000 DEC. What I found that I was not winning there. I was defeated repeatedly in spite of being an experienced player. This can be seen from the following screenshot.

Bots or players who were winning against me were getting 300 to 500 Gint while one or two wins of mine were restricted to 50 to 70 Gint. This is also noteworthy that Gint has no value yet. You can buy reward cards with it but you cannot sell those cards without paying heavily. So, what is the use of it for the buyers is a matte of concern. That's why I am compelled to write this post as an eye opener for the game community and investors.
