CineAtlas 60 | Week 5 - Movement Scene | [Lalmonirhat-Phulbari Road]
Currently I am working in the northern region. The area where I live is the border area. We travel on the highway. Big trucks and passenger buses always ply on that highway. The name of this highway is Lalmonirhat-Phulbari Road. Sometimes buses and trucks go in such a way. Which becomes risky for ordinary pedestrians or cyclists. I made videos of several places. In one of them, a cyclist barely survived.
Current roads are becoming very dangerous for the common people. Especially the area where I live is very dangerous. Stone trucks always ply on this road. The trucks bring stones from Pathgram. And take them to different parts of Bangladesh. The stone trucks start coming after noon. And continue till 12 midnight. These trucks carry excess goods. And they are so crowded that when danger occurs on the road, it is dangerous.
I took a lot of videos and pictures while standing on the road. The pictures of the moving cars were not good. So I made videos. Taking pictures while standing on the road is also dangerous. Because the trucks were coming like that. Sometimes it was like going into reverse while turning. I had a child with me. I had to handle him. So I couldn't take good pictures.
Motorcycles, buses, trucks, and autorickshaws ply this road a lot. Sometimes motorcycles are seen plying. The road is not very wide. However, the trucks that ply this road. Even on a 4-6 lane road, there are not so many buses and trucks plying. I rarely walk on the road. When I go somewhere, I travel by autorickshaw. Walking seems very risky to me. This is the only road in our city. You can go from Pathgram to Dhaka through this road.
Overbridges are very important for crossing roads on highways. There are various banks, schools and colleges located along our roads. Sometimes we have to cross the road. Then suddenly trucks and buses come in front of us. It becomes very dangerous. Sometimes we have to face accidents. I cannot explain to you by taking pictures. How dangerous this highway is for us. Maybe you will understand a little by watching the video. I rarely go on this highway unless necessary. I usually drive through alleys.
