The Diary Game || (Date: January 08, 2026) || I spent one of the happiest days of my life today and I'm sharing it.
Dear Steemian friends,
I’m @azit1980
From #bangladesh
With respect and love for you, welcome to today's new diary game. Please, everyone, support me from your sidelines. I have been able to come this far with your help.
It has been feeling so cold for the past few days, I have not seen such a long cold in the last 5 to 6 years. It is normal to feel cold in winter, but I don't think Dhaka city has ever experienced such a long cold. I left home a little late today because of the extreme cold. No matter how cold it is, I have to go out for a walk every morning. People don't want to get up in the winter, and I can't sleep at dawn. Today, on my way home from work, a shopkeeper was selling lemons. At first, I thought they were from Malta or our native Malta. I have never seen such big lemons this year. Recently, lemon has been eaten more in my house, but I don't like lemon very much. My wife likes lemon more at home. She eats it more after any allergic food or mixes it with food so that the allergy can't attack her in any way. The price is very low considering the size of the lemon. I bought a whole lemon for just twenty taka.
To be honest, I am a little stressed mentally. Although this is not a severe stress. The thing is that out of all the types of vegetables and fish available in the market, 70 percent cannot be bought because of allergy problems. So, you have to do a lot of calculations and do the shopping. We know that the foods that cause allergies are: shrimp, hilsa fish, and vegetables, including spinach and kale. Outside of that, we can't buy many fish, and it's forbidden to buy many vegetables. Most of the time, we buy Rui fish for our home. The price of this Rui in our Pagla Bou market is 250 taka, and I bought it from here for only 180 taka per kg. Although I don't buy much fish in the morning. Today, the fish seemed fresh, so I bought two kilos of Rui fish.
After a long time, today I went to visit the scruff field of our factory. These scruffs were brought from Brazil by LC. The goods of this LC are A-grade goods. These scraps will not be melted because if they are sold in the local market of Bangladesh at the price they were purchased at, they can be sold at a much higher price. Already, a few parties have come to see the goods and are planning to buy them. If the price is right, they will sell all the goods. So I went to visit with the Executive Director of our office, sir. Anyway, today I took a picture of our factory's scruff field on my mobile phone.
Today, I tried to share with you a little bit of the evening snack chat at the office. Every day, there is a chat in the office in the evening with one item. My brother and dear colleague, Md. Jewel Bhuiyan. Now that he has taken over as the admin, we often organize these events in his office. But what I like most about him is that when he organizes these items, he calls me through the office intercom. Many times, I am busy with work, but he still tells me to do my work later and comes to my room first. He is such a big-hearted person, you can't understand him unless you mix with him. Another good quality he has is that he doesn't compromise on his work. I like this a lot. He doesn't give me any concessions on his work either. Today's arrangement was guava and a lot of salt and pepper. It was a lot of fun.
"Thank you so much for reading my creative post." |
