If our leaders make employment opportunities available, reduce standard of living, reduce the rate of corruption in the system since they can't curb it out completely, we wouldn't be looking for how to tackle security issues because they themselves are security conscious to avoid being killed. If all these are done, majority won't have reasons to break into people's houses to steal or rob.

Imagine you can't afford 2 cups of Garri because of the price but someone is buying 5 bags for his household. Envy and jealousy would move you to steal from the person.
