First, we need to wash our chicken properly and put deep cuts on it. Washing the chicken well helps remove any impurities and keeps it clean for cooking.
After washing, making deep cuts allows the flavors to go inside the chicken easily. This step helps the chicken cook evenly and makes it more tasty and juicy.

Take a bowl and add yogurt to it. Then add 1 tablespoon of vinegar and mix it well with the yogurt until smooth.
After that, add 2 tablespoons of ginger-garlic paste, 1½ tablespoons of salt, 1 tablespoon of black pepper, 1 tablespoon of red chilli powder, 1 tablespoon of garam masala, and 3 tablespoons of tikka masala.

Then, mix all the spices with the yogurt very well. Make sure the mixture is smooth and all the ingredients are blended together evenly. This spice-yogurt mixture will add great flavor to the chicken and help it become soft and tasty when cooked.

Next, heat some oil in a pan and fry your chicken pieces. Place them carefully in the hot oil so they cook evenly on all sides. Fry the chicken until it turns golden in color.
This gives the chicken a nice crispy texture on the outside while keeping it soft and juicy inside.

After frying, pour the yogurt-spice mixture over the chicken pieces. Make sure every piece is well coated with the mixture so that the flavors are absorbed properly.Cover the chicken and let it marinate for at least 3 to 4 hours. This allows the chicken to become tender and full of flavor, making it delicious when cooked.

After 4 hours, take a steamer and pour some water into it. Make sure the water level is enough to create steam but not too high that it touches the chicken.Next, place a piece of butter paper in the steamer. This will prevent the chicken from sticking to the steamer and help it cook evenly.

Carefully put the marinated chicken on top of the butter paper. Make sure the pieces are spread out and not crowded so that the steam can reach every piece and cook it perfectly. After placing the chicken in the steamer, cover it properly with the lid. This will keep the steam inside and cook the chicken evenly.Cook the chicken on low flame for about 40 minutes. Cooking slowly on low heat makes the chicken tender, juicy, and full of flavor.

After 40 minutes, the steamed chicken is ready. The chicken will be soft, juicy, and full of all the spices and flavors from the marinade.
Here is the final look of the chicken-golden, tender, and delicious. It is now ready to serve hot and enjoy with your family or friends.Serve steam chicken with imli chutney,ketchup and raita.
