The Diary Game: Going To The Market To Get Open Space For My Skills(16/03/2026)

I went to the market to look for open space for my pedicure and manicure business as I and my boss discussed in my recent writing s. My boss encourage me to get a open space to get more clients and income and I give in totally because the environment we have just moved into is a new site and I can’t get shop there, my work requires a open space and I had to go get my self one, I get to meet the man in charge of the space and he told me to bring a sum of five thousand naira to get it, he gave me an appointment by 10am tomorrow that I should come so he can inform the other people around in other to avoid chaos as some market people likes trouble especially if you are stranger and you didn’t inform the authorities before getting space.

At first the man in charge doesn’t want to give me space because all the open spaces are almost occupied . He ask me to go take a picture of the block because he was tired of climbing the stairs he’s a bit weighty in stature. I quickly go take the pictures and show him as it’s one of my favorite thing to do. I stayed in front of in the block where the open space is and take a picture from the last staircase. He viewed it and declined at first but later agreed, he says the space is center of business so I’ll have to pay for inconvenience and I agreed, I hope to get money and give him because I spent a lot on transportation to and fro a week ago hoping to see him he’s hard to see him until I eventually get to see him today.

I went to my boss open space after seeing the man authorized to give out open spaces there, my boss ask if he grants me the permission to use it and I responded ’yes’ but I have to pay for the spaces. He persuaded me to try and pay if’s not up to the amount requested of me. I told him I’ll try my best and pay the amount I have at least to enable me start my business. As soon as I leave my boss place I went to onion seller and I got #200 onion and headed home but couldn’t take a picture at the spot as it’s along a busy road, so I told myself I’ll take the picture as soon as I get home. I bought ice cream for my baby and get a bike to take me back home.
