The Diary Game:Re-creating Head-tie And Family Life (19/09/2026)

I use my leisure time to work on my crafts as a makeup artist and head-tie artist that I am and today is one of the days I get to work on head-tie as I do not have a busy schedule or weekends appointment for makeover or nail appointment. I’m home all day with my kids and when it’s time for me alone time, I get to put in work on my crafts. I get a head-tie, a sego head tie to re-create a particular style of head-tie on mannequin. I get my pin ready and my sego fabric head tie, I use a 60/40 measurement and I made a pleat, five pleat to be precise and a round lay on the mannequin head. And I extend the pleat towards the back and both sides made a formula of short up as taught by my mentor, which is shorter length up and the longer one beneath, then crossing it over each other and making sure it’s firm before arranging from the back to the front.

When I’m done arranging the pleat to the to the front, I create a fan in between and pin it down towards the end of the long hand of the the fabric, then I bring the short hand to the front and form a small round pleat and place it above the the fan shape I did with the right side of the style and pin it down towards the end of the short hand. I adjust the front view to the back, making sure it’s firm and and likewise the round pleat at the left side of the fabric. I use pin to tack both the left side and the right side together, making the fan style and the the round pleat in front lay on each other to give it a flat closer style well blended together within, making sure it’s firm as well. When I’m done pining and arranging the front properly, I move towards the back of the head-tie to cover the open space and pin it. I press the crossing at the to lay down on each other without a gap because sego head tie is not a soft fabric hence there’s always need to flatten it by pressing it down.

When I’m done, I place it on a clear space in the house and take a picture of the front and back view. I relax for some time and by then it’s towards late noon and I have to prepare dinner. I gets to the kitchen and carry two tubers of yam and put it in the tray and slice, I use knife to remove the yam pill and put it in a clean bowl of water. When I’m done I rinse it twice and gets a pot to arrange it inside from the bottom to the top and I pour a room temperature water into the pot and allow to cook for 30-35 minutes before putting it off from the cooking gas. I blend my pepper on grind on stone meant for grinding pepper. I grind onions with it and rinse the grinding stone afterwards. I get a frying pan from the kitchen and rinse, then I place it on the gas and fry the pepper sauce for the yam. I add my seasoning and stir. When I’m done I put the gas off.

When I’m done, I put hubby food in side a warmer and I get to relax and take a drink and eat a little bread, I take water thereafter and relax. I ask my daughter if she’s ready to eat but it’s she’s already filled with snacks she and is brother smack on. After relaxing, I go back to the kitchen to clean up the mess and wash the plates I use for grinding pepper and clean the oil stain on the kitchen wall tiles.
