Hello Steemians!

Today was another typical, busy, and beautifully chaotic day in my life as a toddler mom. If you have a small child at home, you already know that "alone time" is a luxury we can only dream of! Here is how my day went from morning till late tonight.

🌅 Morning: The 20-Minute "Alone Time" Myth

I snuck out of bed early this morning, hoping I could steal at least an hour of quiet alone time to collect my thoughts before my small madam woke up. Guess what? I didn't even get up to 20 minutes!

Before I could even settle down, I heard her sharp voice calling out, "Mama!" 😂 I answered, smiled, and just like that, my official stressful daily shift began.

She always demands food the very second her eyes open, so I quickly warmed up some leftovers for her to start her morning while I jumped straight into my household chores.

🍲 Afternoon: Kitchen Duties & Naptime Productivity

For breakfast/lunch prep, I made delicious unripe plantain porridge for my little girl. For my husband and myself, I boiled unripe plantains.

Trying to be productive with a toddler running around is almost impossible. I couldn't get any serious digital work done until she finally took her afternoon nap. The moment her eyes closed, I went into hyper-drive!

  • I drafted a new blog post.
  • I ran some deep research and planning for our upcoming YouTube channel.

I was right in the middle of these tasks when my small madam woke up from her nap, and I immediately put everything away to give her all the love and attention she deserves.

🌙 Evening: The 11 PM Midnight Hustle

It is currently 11:00 PM, the house is finally quiet, and I am still awake trying to finish up all the tasks I couldn't complete during the daylight hours. Honestly, I don't expect tomorrow to be any different! 😂

Despite the fatigue, all of this is the true joy of motherhood, and I wouldn't trade it for anything.

Thank you so much for reading about my day! How did your own day go? Were you able to accomplish everything on your to-do list? Let me know in the comments below!
