We are already on week 6 power up challenge. Thanks so much @jyoti-thelight for remembering us the importance of power up from time to time. Power up should be the first thing all steemians should have in mind because of its importance. Do you know that if you power up, it helps you to maintain your club status? Yeah it helps. Do you know that you help to strengthen the Steemit ecosystem while powering up? It has a lot of benefits when we power up our steem. But before I go on to explain other benefits, here is the steps on how to power up.

I quickly log in to my wallet. Then click on the link behind my liquid Steem. Hope you are seeing the arrow from the screenshot? From the options displayed, I chosed power up. Then, it took me to another page where I fixed in the amount of Steem I want to power up.

As you can see, 18 Steem was selected by me. I clicked on the power up and, I was taking to another page where I needed to be confirmed by clicking ok which I deed. After that, the transactions was successful.

Before I deed power up, I had a total of 166.001 Steem and, after power up, I had 184.00 Steem. Below is the screenshot of before and after power up of my Steem wallet.

Apart from maintaining our club status and strengthening the Steemit ecosystem, when we power up, we save for ourselves. It saves us the strength of hustling during our old age because we have saved for it. We win Steem when we power up, just like this contest now. Certain amount of Steem has been mapped out for the winners.
