The diary game||My day and the building construction 🕋🙌🏾||10-10-2024

"Aaaaaahuuuuuu🥱" That's me yawning. I woke up so early today to help in completing the pending construction. With this my participation in the diary game contest Organised by @alfazmalek , let's dive in and see how today will go with the building construction.

Morning activities

I woke up early to complete some tasks before the bricklayer came. I brushed my teeth, did some home workout, and took my breakfast as usual. Which was tea and bread this time around, not with Palm Weevil larvae but with a little slice of boiled egg.

As soon as I was done with my breakfast, the bike man drove in with another bag of cement.
I help the man drop the cement on the ground.

I later went in and brought out tools for the work. Soon, the bricklayer arrived, and the work began. It has been a while since I did a heavy task, so it wasn't easy for me. However, since it was part of exercise I keep working. The cement was mixed with sand and water by me.

The bricklayer is a very hardworking man. He doesn't relax any second while working. Instead, he focuses and continues working even when he is tired.I, on the other side, was busy lifting those heavy blocks for him to continue the building construction.

Will the little animals know that I was sacrificing my energy just to build a home for them???😅😅After the long hours of working it, we were already at noon, so we had to take some rest, which we did.

Afternoon activities

I was so hungry, but I don't know if the bricklayer was too. Well, he is a living thing. I believe he was really hungry, too, at that moment.Guest what while working my sister was in the kitchen preparing our lunch.Two plates of jollof rice with fried chicken were brought to us.

We ate and were satisfied, drank some water, and then we rested a bit.The 🌞 sun was shining as if there was no tomorrow; this made me more tired and weak. I hate working under the sun. So we waited for the sun to reduce a bit. After a while, the weather was cool again, and we began working.

I poured out the cement again, and mix with sand and water to form another mud for holding the blocks. The work went well; I must say we were a little bit faster than the first day. The building was now up to the window level and ready for dintel.

I did my best to help the bricklayer because he wanted to finish the task on time so that he could reach his home on time. Oops! The mud(mixture of sand, cement, and water) was finished, and that is where the work ended for the day. The time was already 5:45 pm.

Evening activities

I helped the bricklayer to wash his tools while he was in the bathroom taking his bath. After coming out he was happy to see me washing all the tools he used for the work. I called my dad to tell him that the man was done with the work. After some minutes, my dad transferred some money to the man who paid for the work done by him.

Suddenly my mum arrived back from work. He pleaded with the bricklayer not to go yet so that he could eat dinner before going. Wow🙀🙆 how fast is my mum in cooking?I guess after about thirty-five minutes of waiting, a delicious meal was ready. Egusi soup my best soup, was ready it was shared to us.!

My dinner

I sat outside the compound with the bricklayer to eat. After the delicious meal, I escorted him to the main road where he could board a bus back to his house. I met my dad on my way back home. We reached the house and I was really tired. I can't explain how tired I am.

That was the moment I logged in to the Steemit Platform and interacted with some friends by voting and commenting. I later found out ut the diary game contest I esteem. That was the moment I began writing this content for my friends to know how my day went.
