Hello everyone. I am @enamul17.
From #Bangladesh.

Assalamualaikum friends,
Greetings and welcome to my diary blog. Hope all of you are very well and healthy by the grace of Almighty Allah. Alhamdulillah, I am well & healthy too. Today I will share with you all one of my great day activities. There is a variety of excitement and activities that you will love. Hope you all are excited to read my today's blog. So let's begin.

THE DIARY GAME

It has been more than 7 months that I have been coming from home to Dhaka for work but still haven't gone home since then.I have been saying since the beginning that the ETP plant is running 24 hours for which we have very few holidays and there are plans to do a lot of repair work in the plant during this Eid. So there was a plan not to give me leave at first as the work will continue in the plant. However at last I got permission to go home.

On 8th April my duty was in the morning so as usual I reached the office at 6 am, and already from yesterday afternoon the maintenance people started their work. On reaching the office in the morning, I saw that the pipe pump is placed on the path between the plant, which will start the operation of the setup from the morning. I am busy with work as usual. As usual I completed my regular tasks.

Of course, my plan was to do half-time duty today and take early leave for home a little earlier. I packed all my clothes in bags the day before. I will just take leave and go home and take a shower and then leave for home. A friend of mine was supposed to go with me but as he had the next day off, I went out alone. However, today the condition of the roads was very busy, jams and car fares were high.

However, it was very difficult to get tickets at this time and I was not sure whether I would get leave or not, so tickets were not booked. So I planned to break even though it was hard to make a journey like this while fasting but I had a different feeling working in me. However, I boarded a bus from the bus stand that would go to Paturia Ferry Ghat. But the problem is massive traffic jam.

The driver of the bus I boarded was quite experienced in driving and planned to take another route as the bus was full of people. And luckily we reached the ferry via the traffic free road. From there I crossed the Padma river by launch and reached Dauldia Ghat. It takes roughly 25 to 30 minutes to cross the river. I got down from there and went directly to the bus stand. It takes 2 minutes to walk. From there I have to go to Jessore as the bus will not go further so I booked the bus ticket.

This bus moves a little slowly which made our journey more than 2 hours longer and to top it off the bus got a tire leak on the way so it took a 30 minute break to change it. And since it was an evening event, I and other bus passengers all had Iftaar by buying food from roadside shops. Anyway we finished the iftar and then again boarded the bus and within a few hours I reached Jessore Monihar bus stand. Alighted from the bus then I walked some distance, I found a bus going to our locality and from there boarded the bus and left for my locality.

My friend waits for me at the bus stand in the market and my brother also waits in the market. However I reached the bus stand in our area and met them and later bought various fruits for my family before heading home. Later me, my brother and my friend left for home. After reaching home I meet everyone and talk about all the things that have been accumulated for a long time. Alhamdulillah I finally reached my home safely. And it was a great day for me.

I spend my day through these core activities of the day. I hope everyone enjoyed reading my April 8, Diary blog. See you soon on my other blog. Goodbye dear friends.
