Greetings to you all,it another day of my Cassava Harvesting and I'm sharing how the process went from the farm to the house and other activities of the day.
My Morning Engagement
As I woke up from bed by 5:30AM ,I conducted a short prayer and after that I arranged my self and started going to the Cassava farm that I'm still doing the harvesting since last week,I first of all call the bike man to fixed appointment with him,so that he would come and carry the harvested Cassava, after he has picked up the call and i was through with the discussion and he agreed coming,so I started moving with my sister to the farm,it was a distant farm journey.
By 7:20AM,I went arrive at the farm work started.,I harvested section by section, from where I stopped last week, through this particular harvest was not good as the last week own,but I appreciated the nature for changing from stems to food.
By 10 am,I was still doing the harvesting and thank God for the strength as I speed up the work, then by 12 pm,I was through with the harvest,the next thing in the farm was to packed those cassava from different points to one place so that it's would be forgotten ,when I checked my time,it was already 12 :08pm,so I started doing another work.
Afternoon Activity (Still At The Farm)
I started conveying the Cassava from the farm to the road side still within the farm location so that the bike man will be able to carry it freely,this was another serious moment as I used a small bag to be carrying it,the distance was a far,so I kept the big bag of 100kg bag at the road side,this system was to help me stack the cassava into the bag,when I was through with it,I started packing It into the bag and after a two hours work,I tide the bags and put calls through to see if I would reach out to the bike man, unfortunately,i couldn't reach out to him,so I waited for another 1 and half hour, while waiting,I go round some locations where network will go through and luckily I reached out to him and he told me that he is coming to carry it,I helped him to Carry it.
Evening Activity
I was at home waiting for the bike man to come,so after 30 minutes time,he arrived and I started removing the Cassava from the bag by the road site to the house, this was another stressful task
After doing that,I set fire in the kitchen using firewood and warmed water for bathing, after that I warmed the food that was left at home,I didn't want to cook any food, only to manage the little food till the next day.
After bathing,I ate and then relaxed outside having discussion with my cousin who visited me,we used 45 minutes to discuss after that I escorted him to main road to pick up bike, coming back I go to bed straight and slept.
