Social media plays a very important role in almost all areas of our human lives. Through social media, people can send messages, share and search for information that is currently being discussed. Social media has become an important need for most people. Starting from adults, teenagers, to children, they cannot be separated from social media.

The presence of social media in today's society has a big impact. Social media really helps us in shortening the distance between people, so it is very effective in shortening the time in communicating. However, like anything that has a positive impact, it is certainly possible that it will have a negative impact. Society in general today has experienced significant changes as a result of the widespread development of social media. Even though social media has many benefits, there are also many disadvantages.

There are many positive impacts of social media that can be utilized by society. Social media will make it easier to interact with other people. One of them is that social media distances people who are close or vice versa. Face-to-face interactions tend to decrease, making people addicted to the internet, causing conflict, privacy problems, and being vulnerable to the bad influence of other people.

Therefore, when carrying out activities on social media, you must be careful not to get caught up in all the crimes that often occur on social media. Social media users must know tips on how to avoid committing crimes on social media. Personally, I think social media cannot be separated from everyday activities. There are many useful things we can take from social media as long as we use it wisely.
